Our story began in 2002 when founder Kyle Funk turned his passion for working with his hands and solving complex problems into a business. What started in his parent's shed in Goessel, Kansas, has grown into a thriving company serving industrial, residential, and commercial customers across the state.
With a strong belief in collaboration and getting the job done right, Kyle built Funk Electric on the values of hard work, integrity, and a dedication to excellence. In 2010, we officially moved into our current location in Goessel, KS — the same community where our roots were planted. Emporia and El Dorado are the newest communities we’re proud to serve, with recent locations added as we continue to grow. Whether you're a large institution or a small homeowner, your project matters to us. We treat every customer with the same respect, care, and dedication.
Over the years, we’ve expanded our capabilities and offerings as well, adding Automation & Controls and Oil Field Services to meet the evolving needs of our customers.
